Joanny is a 25-year-old French cinematographer. He loves watching movies and making them.

He comes from a French city called Lyon. It’s the city where the Lumière brothers invented cinema in the 19th century. So we can say that he has cinema in his blood. He’s now living in Paris.

After finishing his cinema school, he worked for 3 years as a key grip and grip on set. He did a lot of different kinds of shoots (feature films, commercials, music videos, short films, TV shows…). At the same time, he started doing small projects as a cinematographer. Two years ago, he decided to focus solely on cinematography and become a full-time director of photography.
